Norden Old Library Centenary

Norden Old Library has turned 100 years old and to celebrate this achievement a Centenary celebration was held on Sunday 21st March 2026. The event was attended by the Mayor of Rochdale, Ward Councillors, Trustees, Norden History Society

The library was a functioning Council Library until it moved out to its current location at Norden Community School in 2007. The building then was acquired by a local beneficiary for the Community of Norden and is managed by Norden Community Trust.

Extensible renovation work too place to create a Doctors Surgery on the 1st floor and two community rooms available for hire on the ground floor.
